The first International Day of Light, May 16, 2018, is a worldwide celebration of the impact of light and light-sciences on society. Organizations around the world have proposed activities to be included in the Flagship event at the United Nations UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. This workshop was created and will be held as a contribution from ETTi to this honorable event and the UNESCO celebration of light!
The perception of ‘light’ can boost important memories and associations. This workshop will introduce a theoretical and experiential framework of how ‘light’ relates to psychodrama in order to improve and optimize the therapeutic and group process. Applying light in warm-ups, scene settings, surplus reality, action and closure, etc. will be demonstrated.
Personal development covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations. Personal development takes place over the course of a person's entire life.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) based in Paris. Its declared purpose is to contribute to peace and security by promoting international collaboration through educational, scientific, and cultural reforms in order to increase universal respect for justice, the rule of law, and human rights along with fundamental freedom.
"Light in the black" is a 1981 song from the album, 'Catch the Rainbow: The Anthology' of the Metal & Hard Rock group, Rainbow. The title of the song and the name of the group were chosen as the symbolic part of the theme for this workshop.
Light breakfast and coffee will be available. 30 minutes for lunch will be given. McDonalds, Braum’s, Subway, etc. are located within 100 feet.
